Meet Chris

Chris Chianesi is renowned for his exceptional talent in songwriting and musical composition, a meticulous approach to music production, and a commanding presence as an actor and comedian. His skills and extensive experience allow him to craft compelling narratives that resonate profoundly with audiences.

A graduate of New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts (B.F.A. in Drama) and with training also including Upright Citizens Brigade (sketch writing and both musical and traditional improv) and The Groundlings (improv), Chris has a solid foundation in performance, musicality, and human connection, which he applies to all of his endeavors.

His career highlights include his critically acclaimed work as creator, composer, and performer of Darling Boy, which received the Pick of the Fringe and Hollywood Encore! Producers Awards at the 2023 Hollywood Fringe Festival. It was also nominated for Best Musical.

From composing heartfelt ballads to writing complex musical arrangements to engaging audiences with his wit as both a traditional and musical comedian, Chris seamlessly integrates multiple disciplines. His unique blend of empathy, humor, and musical talent enables him to build meaningful connections with diverse audiences and collaborators.
