#wescroll

The Feed with @SeriouslyChris was a monthly variety show that premiered in New York in January 2019. It lasted for fourteen months, until the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The show was modeled after a quintessential social media platform like Instagram: the stage was the interface, the performers were the posts, and the audience metaphorically scrolled through the feed and viewed whoever happened to pop up.

One of the show’s key features was to give the audience unexpected delights, like how things worked before algorithms took over and started feeding people only what they (think) they like.

This page memorializes its run, including the original songs that Chris Chianesi, host and producer, wrote specifically for the show as well as the special guests who participated.
